Vitae

For a variety of privacy and personal reasons I have not posted my resume for public viewing. If you are interested in obtaining a condensed Vitae I would be happy to provide it. Please contact me via email or the contact form and I will do my best to respond promptly. In lieu of providing a vitae or resume, here is a short blurb about my professional history...

Over my career, I have produced a variety of Information Systems solutions through mediums such as; geographical information systems, graphic and web design, visualizations, systems analysis, network security, photography and other related technologies. Before entering the University of British Columbia as a Ph.D. student (current) I held several Research Assistantships, Internships, and Network and Systems Administration positions.  One key position was the lead Network Administrator for the Washington State Department of Health in 2004. I designed, created and maintained the external network infrastructure securing all internal communications and vital records for the State. Since entering graduate school I have worked on several software design solutions and Geographical Information Systems research, notably the Multi-dimensional Image Viewer and the Harvest and Retention Planner. I have also been a Teaching Assistant for Land Management Planning and Introduction to Geographical Information Systems.  While in school I develop and maintain several websites and software solutions for small companies and organizations.
